Mark E. Jones, PhD, ACSM-EP, TSAC-F, is an exercise scientist, health promotion professional, and veteran with over 20 years of combined service in the U.S. Army and as a Department of War civilian. His work focuses on the intersection of human performance, health readiness, body composition, VO₂max, HRV, and long-term lifestyle change.
After serving in the Army from 2006 to 2016, Dr. Jones continued his mission through federal service, supporting health promotion and readiness programs across the military community. His doctoral research examined autonomic recovery following maximal exertion, with a focus on breathwork, heart rate variability, body composition, and tactical performance.
Through Peak Vitality, Dr. Jones helps veterans, professionals, and high performers move beyond guesswork by using objective data, practical coaching, and evidence-based strategies to build strength, resilience, and lifelong health.
